Hello everyone! My name is Dani Mathias, and I am delighted to join the vibrant community at International School of Tokyo. With over a decade of teaching experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge, passion, and a strong commitment to creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment for all students.

A key strength I offer as an educator is my proficiency in both English and Japanese. This bilingual ability not only enables me to communicate effectively with students and parents, but it also helps to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for everyone. I believe that when families feel connected and understood, it enhances the overall learning experience.

My deep understanding of the cultural and educational backgrounds unique to Japanese students distinguishes my teaching approach. Having lived and worked in Japan for many years, I am well-versed in the Japanese education system and the specific needs of my students. I aim to tailor my teaching strategies to align with their learning styles, which fosters a comfortable and motivating classroom environment.
